The photos definitely improved upon the arrival of Mary Ellen. She is a talented artist with professional training in photography. She also brought with her the best, clearest, and crispest weather that afforded beautiful views of the New Zealand landscape. Our visit to Tongariro included an entirely gluten free high tea, stunning views of Ngāuruhoe and the other volcanoes in the Park, and a perfectly framed shot from the Chateau’s picture window. It was a good way to end the day after our hike to a waterfall of crystalline waters.
